Bromley South

Cllr. Daniel Hassell

I live locally in Bromley-by-Bow, working at Camden Council and have a degree in Social Policy from the London School of Economics.

I am active in the local community, having campaigned against cuts to our local police and fire services and serving as a school governor.

Having grown up in social housing, helping to care for my disabled mother, I am passionate about improving support for disabled people and carers as well as education and expanding opportunities for young people.

Cllr. Helal Uddin

I’ve lived in Bromley-by-Bow for 19 years and work as a Director at the Bromley-by-Bow Centre. I’m privileged to have been a councillor for this area since 2010.

I am particularly proud of campaigning to protect welfare advice services, Children Centres and youth services and the NHS. I fought against cuts to fire and police services and prevented the sale local council houses.

I want to prioritise addressing local housing need, better housing services, more accessible community services for local people, improving the local economy and tackling anti-social behaviour.
